Plasmon UDO2 (Ultra Density Optical 2)
Plasmon launches UDO2 Archival Storage Solutions - Second-generation UDO2 doubles media capacity.
Building on the success of UDO1 blue-laser storage technology, 60GB UDO2 offers customers double the capacity and a 50 percent performance increase over first
generation UDO products. In combination with Plasmon's flagship UDO Archive Appliance, customers can now consolidate and scale their archives from 1TB to
over 76TB in a single Archive Appliance.
UDO2 provides the same trusted data authencitity, permanence and media longevity as first
generation UDO1 but at an even lower total cost of ownership. UDO2 is backward read compatible with UDO1, enabling easy upgrades that extend system life and product
existing capital investments.

Optical Libraries for IBM OS/400 (IBM3995)
The G-Series libraries for IBM i5/OS have been certified by IBM for
operation in i5/OS and open systems environments. They leverage the strengths of UDO technology and are designed for
archival storage applications that require secure, long-term data retention. Typical applications include e-mail archiving,
record management, and IBM Content Manager environments. The libraries are available with storage capacities ranging from 1TB to
over 38TB* through the combined product lines of IBM and Plasmon.

Plasmon Magneto-Optic Products - MO Media
The
P1300E and P1200E Magneto-optic media is compatible with all 1.3
GB ISO compliant MO drives. The P2600E, P2600W and P2300E disks
are compatible with all 2.6 GB ISO compliant MO drives such as Plasmons
RF6950. Plasmons P2600DW media is of the LIMDOW standard offering
Direct OverWrite capabilities. The 8x (5.2 GB) product range using
the mod520 drive, provides jukebox certified media, with 512, 1024
and 2048 bytes per sector in WORM or rewritable format. All MO media
is double sided, each side is half the capacity of the disk.
